Chick Corea Trio, Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival

It’s not easy to summarise 50 years of creativity and artistic impact in a few lines. Chick Corea, brilliant American composer and virtuoso pianist, has received a stunning 18 Grammy Awards (!), including one this year in the category Best Jazz Solo Improvisation for Forever, a double CD recorded during his acoustic tour.

Just one more triumph attesting to the depth of his talent, awaiting you at the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival.

This musician who has achieved the status of living legend has successively tried his hand at bebop, jazz fusion, children’s songs, chamber music and more… whilst always maintaining his level of excellence. This musician has an immensely open mind and never ceases to change and try new things.

Innovative and a true pioneer, Chick Corea can boast two new albums in 2012!

Opening act: Manu Katché
