Earth Hour 2017

Earth Hour is a global movement initiated by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). During Earth Hour, all lights are turned off and all non-essential electric appliances are unplugged for one hour. The idea is to promote saving electricity and consequently the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to counteract global warming.

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is participating in this movement by turning off the lights in many of its establishments such as Place du Casino, Casino de Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, Balmoral,Thermes Marins, Sporting Monte-Carlo and the Monte-Carlo Beach Resort.

The Principality of Monaco is contributing by turning off the lights at the Prince’s Palace and in public buildings.

Join us and the millions of other participants all over the world in the Earth Hour movement: Turn off your lights on Saturday, 25 March from 8:30pm to 9:30pm!
