Eros Ramazzotti & Bob Sinclar – Monaco Red Cross Gala 2013

Friday 2 August will be an exceptional night: the famous Italian singer and musician Eros Ramazzotti and the DJ Bob Sinclar will be performing at the Monaco Red Cross Gala!

Eros Ramazzotti Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2013

For this new edition of the prestigious Gala which will be part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Société des Bains de Mer this year, guests will be welcomed by the group New Scat. The Italian band NeroCaffe’ and the Sporting Orchestra featuring Ty Stephens will provide entertainment during the dinner. Then it will be Italian superstar Eros Ramazzotti’s turn to perform. The Roman has sold more than 55 million albums over his thirty-year career and will be performing all of his greatest hits as well as some songs from his twelfth album Noi.

Does Eros Ramazzotti need any presentation? Born in Rome in the early ’60s, Eros showed a musical predisposition at a young age, first for the piano and then for the guitar. He tried to join the conservatory but was turned down.

In February 1984, the singer participated in the Italian Song Festival and won with the song “Terra Promessa”. He tried again the following year but only won seventh place. However, his song “Una storia importante” became a big hit and sold over a million copies in France. Boosted by this success, Eros released his first album entitled Cuore agitati. His career had been officially launched.

Many opuses followed, including duos with renowned artists such as Joe Cocker, who will also be joining us at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Summer Festival 2013, as well as Cher, Tina Turner, Luciano Pavarotti, Laura Pausini, and Anastacia. His last album Noi is the Roman’s twelfth; he has sold over 55 million worldwide in an almost 30-year career!

The Italian lover and lady-killer will be putting on a fabulous show at the fantastic gala, to the musical delight of all present in the Salle des Etoiles!

The event will end with the illustrious DJ Bob Sinclar on the decks.

Sandrine Quétier and the American host China Moses will draw the raffle, leading as always to sumptuous prizes.
