Can Nico Rosberg take a fourth consecutive win?

Who will succeed Nico Rosberg, winner in 2013, 2014, and 2015 on Le Rocher? Just ahead of the new season, the experts can’t decide between continued domination by the  Mercedes team of reigning champion, Lewis Hamilton, and his teammate Nico Rosberg, or a return to winning form for Ferrari, led by German driver Sebastian Vettel. It promises to be a hard-fought battle, with a win around the streets of the Principality a long dreamed of goal for every driver. Such is the attraction that almost 100,000 people come to watch the single-seater cars lap at an average speed of 150 km/h.

A unique sporting challenge against a stunning backdrop

In sporting terms, the  Monaco Grand Prix  remains unique, with its 100% street circuit showcasing the talent and dexterity of the drivers. Late on the brakes into the first corner at Sainte-Dévote, or misjudging the line through the tunnel, inevitably brings the competitors too close for comfort to the unforgiving safety barriers. The streets of the Principality provide a theatrical setting that takes the event to a sublime, breathtaking level. From the marina to the open balconies on the prestigious buildings that line the route, there are numerous spots from which to admire and enjoy the racing, the atmosphere and the setting.

Being at the heart of the action

Among the best spots, we recommend the terraces of the Salon Bellevue at the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo and the Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, on the famous Casino Square. Immerse yourself in the world of F1 at the Paddock Lounge of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, with a race simulator, live cooking and

finger buffets. Make the most of the night-time festivities, with evenings organized at La Rascasse, on the portside at Monaco, on the legendary  Monaco Grand Prix corner , at the Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, at Jimmy’z Monte-Carlo or at the Sea Lounge Monte-Carlo,  a pop-up club that opens just for the event.

Note that the Société des Bains de Mer provides sophisticated gourmet meals at any hour, in any style and to suit any budget throughout the  Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.
