Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo imagines a “Fabergé” easter egg

The Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is a wonderful place to enjoy the first days of spring or Easter weekend.

Fabergé chocolate Easter egg at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

In the context of the Year of Russia in Monaco, pastry chef Nicolas Baygourry has designed a chocolate Easter egg inspired by the fabulous jewellery boxes created by Pierre-Karl Fabergé in the late 19th century.

Chocolate, a symbol of gourmet delight with a special connection to Easter, is the star of the recipe.

The pastry chef has selected a 64% pure fine Brazilian dark chocolate with notes of black tea and dried apricots for the egg to ensure balanced, delicate flavours sure to please the palate. Studded with silver sugar pearls, with a golden hinge and blue colour, the chocolate egg magnificently captures the artistry of Fabergé eggs. A chocolate jewel made by a true master craftsman!

Just like the original Fabergé eggs, these chocolate Easter eggs are filled with treasures: nougat, soft caramels and milk and black chocolates in fish shapes.

Come see and taste this chocolate egg when you stay at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo during the Easter holidays. Make Easter a great experience for the whole family, with Easter lunch at the Salle Belle Epoque, and for the children, an Easter egg hunt and creative workshops.

To satisfy all appetites and chocolate lovers, the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is now taking orders for the chocolate eggs.
