Massive yoga class on the terraces of Casino de Monte-Carlo

Join the worldwide celebration of the summer solstice on 21 June 2016 during a relaxing yoga class facing the Mediterranean Sea.

International Yoga Day in Monte-Carlo

The 21st of June will officially be a day of relaxation in Monte-Carlo. The concept is simple: the Côte d’Azur yoga community meets in a set location once a year to celebrate yoga and the summer solstice.

The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of yoga’s many benefits. It’s also an opportunity for over a thousand people to get together and relax, breathe, meditate and do poses while looking at the horizon on the terraces of the Casino de Monte-Carlo.

The summer solstice is the celebration of creative expression: music, art, dance and yoga. On this occasion, many mass yoga classes will take place all over the world in places such as Times Square in New York, the Grand Palais in Paris and free yoga events in Barcelona and Madrid.

This dream is becoming reality with the help of the Principality of Monaco and the generous support of Société des Bains de Mer.

A magical setting

What better place to celebrate than in the magical setting of Monte-Carlo? Come open your heart, senses and mind. Om shanti.

Massive yoga session on 21 June from 17:45 to 19:30 on the terraces of the Casino de Monte-Carlo.

The class will be lead by the enthusiastic yogini, Charlotte Saint-Jean. The ceremony will be opened by Grammy Award winner Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Amita Dalal and Nihar Mehta, founder president of Association Saptak India based in Villefranche sur Mer.
