Monaco lit up pink for breast cancer awareness

At nightfall on Friday, 7 October 2016, the facade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo will be lit up pink in support of breast cancer awareness and patients.

On 7 October 2016
Pink Ribbon Monaco is organising their 6th breast cancer awareness campaign.

The Casino de Monte-Carlo will be lit up pink for the occasion to demonstrate support for breast cancer patients and to raise awareness of the disease.

International Breast Cancer Awareness Month will be held in Monaco this October for the 6th consecutive year, thanks to the generous support of the Société des Bains de Mer and Sharkprod, who is donating the setting up of all the lights.

With this colourful event, Monaco joins 200 other major cities and 40 countries worldwide, which are all lighting up their buildings and monuments pink.

Pink Ribbon Monaco aims to raise awareness of testing and prevention in Monaco and nearby towns.
