Monte-Carlo Violin Masters, a music competition in Monaco


Monte-Carlo Violin Masters is a music competition by WORLD MUSIC MASTERS. Twelve finalists from the biggest international violin competitions face each other in this competition.

These finalists come from the four corners of the globe: the United States, South Korea, Poland, Belgium, etc.


The winner of the competition receives a €30,000 cash prize called the Prince Rainier III Prize since the year 2000 when the late Prince Rainier decided to take the competition under his wing.


The competitors will tackle three rounds at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo. In addition to the Prince Rainier III Prize, the winner will receive concert dates in France and abroad, a promising start to a successful career.
