The Banc de l’Ecailler (Seafood Counter) at the Café de Paris

 
 

From 7th October 2016 to 2nd April 2017, the Café de Paris offers its Seafood Counter with seafood and shellfish carefully prepared by an expert oyster shucker.

Brittany oysters, fine fattened oysters, European flat oysters or hollow oysters from Brittany, Portuguese ‘Blue Coast’ oysters, periwinkles, whelks, (sea snails), common shrimps from the English channel, a fresh shrimp selection, Dublin Bay prawns, home-grown sea urchins, common clams, Venus clams, rock crabs and violet crabs are all available to tantalise your taste buds.

 

The “Café de Paris” tasting platter and the rich and varied “Café de Paris Special” seafood platters are waiting to be discovered on the Café de Paris menu.

 

Seafood fans who wish to share these delicacies with family and friends will also be able to buy them to take away.

 

Our shuckers prepare this seafood with perfect dexterity and the utmost care every day to the delight and satisfaction of clients. The speed with which the shellfish is shucked is less important than the quality and the freshness of the products. Joël de Pretto will serve you shellfish free of any scales in order to fully enjoy them.
