Following in the footsteps of the tremendously successful Queens of Egypt exhibition in 2008, the new 2018 summer exhibition once again showcases Egypt at Grimaldi Forum.

THE GOLD OF THE PHARAOHS will present a series of prestigious ensembles discovered in the royal tombs of Egypt’s Pharaohs, featuring jewellery, vases, pendants, bracelets, gold and silver belts, necklaces, golden disc mirrors, sarcophagi, gold-plated furniture, and funerary masks.

Thanks to the precious expertise of Christiane Ziegler, the curator of the exhibition, you will find numerous documents explaining the extraordinary discoveries.

The exhibition will showcase these works, which represent one of the most ancient and universal forms of artistic expression.
