Casino de Monte-Carlo certified Responsible Gaming
The Casino de Monte-Carlo has obtained the Responsible Gaming certification following an in-depth audit. This distinction attests to compliance with the strictest standards in terms of player protection and prevention of gambling-related risks.
ECA certification at ICE London in 2023
Awarded by the European Casino Association, this certification was presented at ICE London, a major international event for players in the gaming and entertainment sector. The event now takes place in Barcelona, as of January 2025.
A strong commitment to responsible gaming
Practical measures are being taken to make gamblers aware of the risks associated with gambling. Information resources, personalised support and protection measures ensure a controlled and responsible gaming experience.
The expertise of our casinos
We are also proud to see our establishments rewarded for their excellence. The Casino Café de Paris received the Best Live Entertainment award in recognition of its dynamic and immersive entertainment offer. Meanwhile, the Casino de Monte-Carlo won the Best Customer Service award for its excellent service. These awards testify to our daily commitment to offering our visitors unique experiences, combining a passion for the game with the art of hospitality.
Le Salon Rose and Le Train Bleu are committed to responsible consumption via Mr. Goodfish
The restaurants Le Salon Rose and Le Train Bleu, located in the heart of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, have adopted an eco-responsible approach by adhering to a programme called Mr. Goodfish. This European programme aims to raise public and professional awareness of the need for sustainable consumption of seafood products.
By focusing on species recommended according to their seasonality and state of conservation, Le Salon Rose and Le Train Bleu are helping to preserve marine resources while offering refined, responsible cuisine. This initiative is part of a wider drive to promote environmentally-friendly practices within the Casino de Monte-Carlo's establishments.
Casino de Monte-Carlo: sustainable actions for a win-win situation
At the Casino de Monte-Carlo, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is everywhere. And the Green Team is on hand to remind you to do the right thing. For our employees, every gesture is part of a global spirit that has become a corporate culture. The process begins even before everyone starts work. An overview of the measures put in place.
Encouraging soft mobility
All Casino de Monte-Carlo employees are encouraged to cycle to work. Since many of them live in the Principality, and Monaco enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year (it's worth remembering), cycling is a pleasant, easy and particularly economical way to get around, since parking in the Boulingrins car park on Place du Casino is free and equipped with rechargeable charging stations.
The same gestures for over 160 years
In keeping with the tradition that has made the Casino de Monte-Carlo such a success, the staff in the gaming workshop make the games mats and roulette wheels using techniques developed over 160 years ago. This know-how is unique in the world and has been passed down from generation to generation. Here, the ball that spins in the cylinder and lands on a square gives a particular sound that is the trademark of the Casino de Monte-Carlo.
“The sea begins here.”
Respecting nature means first and foremost preserving the sea. As the coastal fringe of the Mediterranean, Monaco became aware very early on of the fragility of the marine environment. The Musée Océanographique and the Institut Océanographique - Fondation Albert-Ier, the Centre Scientifique de Monaco and the Yacht-Club de Monaco are all institutions with which Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer collaborates directly or indirectly and which develop projects to protect the seas and oceans. With the words "Ici commence la mer." ("The sea begins here.") on the manholes around Place du Casino, the group is seeking to appeal to visitors and raise their awareness.
The gaming school
In order to perpetuate the skills of gaming employees, a special gaming school in Monte-Carlo offers training sessions for young men and women. It teaches gaming techniques and is committed to passing on the Casino de Monte-Carlo's expertise in the art of gaming.
A QR Code for paperless media
No more cards and other paper media. The Casino de Monte-Carlo has definitively adopted the QR Code since the Covid health crisis. More practical, up to date and always available without being cumbersome, the information is freely accessible via QR codes that can be scanned with a smartphone. Proof that, even in places that are renowned for their tradition, technology is finding its place... quite naturally.
