He grew up admiring great voices, with icons like Billy Joel and Aretha Franklin, then later Adele and Sam Smith, always aiming for those high notes that few can reach. Born in the US state of Washington, Benson Boone first teased singing on TikTok, awakening massive anticipation from his fans before showing off his vocal performances in his fleeting time on American Idol. It was there that Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons, took him under his wing and signed up this rising talent with Night Street Records, in partnership with Warner. With his first single Ghost Town, in 2021, Boone exploded the charts and broke into the Billboard Hot 100. Things moved fast and the star released the single Beautiful Things, gaining 1.8 billion streams on Spotify and leading to a global breakthrough.
