Cancer levels have been rising steadily for over 30 years. Contrary to popular belief, genetics only play a small part in this: it is our surroundings that are primarily responsible for levels of the disease rocketing sky-high.
Pollution and smoking are both factors, of course, but diet is key: some specialists are now saying that this may account for at least 40% of newly-diagnosed cancer cases. This talk will explore what cancer is, how it develops, and what the stages of cancer are. It will also improve your understanding of when and how you can use your diet at each of these stages to better protect against it.
At the end of the talk you will be given practical information sheets to take away with you, so you can start applying the advice provided during the event straight away.
