The chic duo that make up AIR have left their mark on the electro-pop worldwide history, and a quarter of a century later still stand alongside Phoenix, Etienne De Crécy and Daft Punk in the pantheon of the "French Touch". Two students, one studying astrophysics, the other architecture, enter a bar on the moon. It may sound like the beginnings of a joke, but in the twilight of the 20th century, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel really did it, and their impact on pop culture was significant.

It had been seven years since they had performed together! But last year, their debut album Moon Safari celebrated its 25th anniversary, giving the duo the opportunity to reform and embark on a world tour where they will be replaying tracks from this cult opus such as "Sexy Boy", "Kelly Watch The Stars" and "All I Need". In addition to the tour, Moon Safari was re-released in mid-March, with numerous alternative versions and a sound as hypnotic as ever. The concert series will take in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Rome, Los Angeles, New York, and Monaco.

The AIR duo unexpectedly reformed a few weeks ago for a world tour. They will be in concert at the Opéra Garnier Monte-Carlo on Saturday June 15.
