In the heart of the games...
These two vast, majestic lounges, open to visitors, are now the scene of major events at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, symbol of the great luxury of the game.
In this lounge decorated with stained glass windows letting a soft light shine, table game tournaments attract all the greatest players in the world, passionate about the legend of roulette or the excitement of Punto Banco with prizepools sometimes reaching one million euros.
These rooms also offer fabulous decorations to discover for lovers of Belle Epoque architecture. Jules Touzet who signed the realization of these rooms in 1890, also worked on the realization of the facade of the main entrance of the Casino of Monte-Carlo.
Table games and remarkable paintings offer a harmonious invitation to the game, the Touzet salons are the obligatory passage to go into the Privé Anglais and the Salle Medecin.
These prestigious rooms also contain an enigma - by looking up and observing the dates on the ceiling, can you find why this date of 1889 ceiling is not reflected?
