Between exciting new projects, must-visit addresses and revamped institutions, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer continues to dazzle its guests with its brand new offerings. From the Carré d’Or around the Place du Casino to its seaside resorts, a new era is dawning, promising ever-more exceptional experiences.
This year, we are focused on enhancing the art of hospitality, and an initial phase has already been completed: several rooms and suites have been fully redesigned at two iconic addresses. The first is the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and its Belle Epoque charm, which has been reinvented with elegance and modernity as an invitation to sample an exceptional art of living. The second is the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort with its chic, relaxed atmosphere, resolutely Mediterranean decor and post-modern design features.
Summary
Both chic and contemporary, the new rooms and suites embody elegance and refinement. Pastel shades, wall hangings, mosaics and fine fabrics create a soft, luxurious atmosphere.
The spaces have been extended to combine comfort and volume, offering 12 additional suites including the new Prestige Suite, which promises to delight our guests.
Make way for the exceptional with the Diamond Suite Duplex. With its unique setting, refined atmosphere and breathtaking view, this entirely unique apartment-style suite is nothing short of astonishing. The experience is tailor-made, with every detail designed with the utmost precision and sophistication in mind.
The 100 m² rooftop terrace complete with jacuzzi is an invitation to relax during the day or night while contemplating one of the Principality’s most beautiful views.
In an effort to preserve natural resources, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and its in-house Design Office, tasked with carrying out the renovation work, are focusing on a brand new intelligent home automation system to limit electricity consumption in its new rooms and suites.
Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort
A façade featuring post-modern, Art-Deco-inspired architecture, punctuated by neoclassical archways and colonnades, sets the tone for the atmosphere of the new rooms and suites at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.
They are an invitation to relax, with serenity and radiance intertwining to create a vibrant and sparkling feel. The new Exclusive Premium Room, for example, is imbued with Mediterranean style and offers an exceptional panoramic view.
Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort
Offering interiors imbued with character, ceramic bathrooms and unusually shaped furniture, all of the suites now reflect the creativity and boldness of a mission accomplished.
With its uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, the Junior Suite Sea View is undoubtedly a top choice for guests seeking a warm and dazzling escape.
A new page is being written for the rooms and suites of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. What was your main mission during the initial reflections on this project?
S.R: The objective was obvious to all of us: to maintain the Belle Epoque soul that is so precious to the hotel, while adding a contemporary variation and redesigning the volumes.
You mentioned volume. Will the spaces change?
S.R: Yes, the number of keys will be reduced to give customers more spacious rooms and the option of adjoining rooms. The bathrooms have also been completely redesigned to provide even greater comfort and a range of subtle, delicate details.
The Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort has also been renovated and is set to unveil its first rooms and suites in April. What was your goal for this magnificent seaside hotel?
S.R: It is an eminently vibrant hotel, with a bold, dynamic and youthful feel. So the aim was to transpose this DNA to the new rooms as accurately and with as much sophistication as possible.
What does that mean in tangible terms?
S.R: We have imagined and created a totally unique world at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort. From the headboards and the walk-in wardrobes to the dressing table and the roomy, welcoming showers, everything has been deliberately designed to meet the expectations of local and international customers.
