A sweet, crazy night

Artists flying through the air like bubbles of champagne, a crooner whose voice resonates and embraces the audience with its warmth. A 1950s gas pump over here, roaring vespas over there. There was no doubt about it, the Casino Café de Paris, a mecca for gambling and parties, celebrated La Dolce Vita loud and clear, an evening chock full of special features of which it alone held the secret. When you love, you don't count the cost! This was proven once again on the 6th of July. The Casino Café de Paris delivered all the delights of the French Riviera on a silver platter. That night, the only thing that mattered was pleasure, being carefree, joie de vivre and the gambling, of course. On the agenda: colourful beaches, some reserved for VIPs, pin-ups passing out succulent cocktails, candy apples, spritzes and limoncello, and the hot beats of the DJs. My Monte-Carlo members escaped to another time and place. And after midnight, while the party was in full swing and the crowd grew larger and more jubilant, Mystery Jackpots of 500 euros fell randomly every ten minutes. Gamblers and guests celebrated the arrival of summer. 4,000 guests, including 1,500 members of the My Monte-Carlo loyalty program, did not leave empty-handed as huge wins were distributed (two jackpots of 410,000 and 200,000 euros), as well as over-the-top gifts, like this diamond hidden in a glass of champagne.
