Friday morning. When the Principality is still asleep, a team is quietly busy in the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo lobby setting up a brand-new bouquet. It was arranged by Marco Traverso, with beautiful freshly-picked flowers from the Netherlands. The range of colours varies every week depending on the season and the artist’s mood, but the bouquet is always round, voluptuous and never ostentatious.
This is a way of greeting guests, with the message: “Welcome to our hotel.”
