With familiar name to our ears, Kyle's first steps were obvioulsy groped in the shadow of his father and therefore, the movies. Although Clint Eastwood always encouraged his children to embrace his career, his eldest son very quickly chose the path of jazz.
10 albums laters, Kyle Eastwood sails alongside the big screen by composing several songs for his father ("Mystic River", "Million Dollar Baby" or "Letters From Iwo Jima"). Double bassist and bassist, the musician often calls on a regular at the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival: Hugh Coltman, who lends his voice on the soundtrack of Gran Torino, composed by the Eastwood father and son. Coltman will also be invited to share the stage of the Opera Garnier Monte-Carlo during the concert.
Opening act: Hailey Tuck Coquette
Hailey made her debut at 18 when she moved to Paris. She let herself be carried by a community of artists who, like her, admire Josephine Baker, Louise Brooks and Blossom Dearie. Thanks to the unexpected meeting of a countess who opens the doors of the aristocracy to her, Hailey Tuck expresses her singing skills at costume balls in Venetian palaces.
Supported by positive reviews from Nylon, People Magazine and Marie Claire magazines, and thanks to TV shows where she performs alongside Björk, The Breeders, Diva Mahal or Jools Holland, Tuck's mission is to overthrow the codes of jazz .
Coquette, transcribes her love for the dark side of jazz which she tints with accents of folk dream pop, while preserving her skillful art of telling playful and funny stories. This amazing recipe leads the audience to dive into a new creative, powerful and mature force.
We will meet her for the first time in Monaco to close this 2020 edition.
