Best rate guarantee

By booking on our website, you benefit from our best offers at the best rates.



The best rate guarantee applies exclusively to room bookings made on our website at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel for which a booking confirmation and booking number have been issued.


For stays of more than one night (outside any minimum length of stay conditions) at the same hotel, the best rate guarantee only applies on a rate per night basis and not to the whole stay.


If you find a better rate in euros for the same stay (same dates, hotel, room type, number of people, terms of sale, prepayment, deposit, change and cancellation terms, excluding booking fees and various taxes including the city tax) on another booking platform within twelve (12) hours of your booking, we commit to refunding the difference.



This guarantee does not apply to the following bookings:

  • package deals (which may include related services in the room price);
  • offers and/or benefits designed exclusively for My MonteCarlo members;
  • those made on booking platforms that only show the name of the hotel after payment;
  • those where the rate has been reduced due to the loyalty or reward programs of other booking platforms;
  • those where the rate is exclusive to a particular booking platform as a result of specific commercial agreements with SBM;
  • promotional, special or memberonly offers made through partners such as flash sales or sales on event sales sites (Ventes Privées, Voyage Privé, Grand Luxury, etc.);
  • those where the rate is applied to business partners and their customers such as ‘distributors’, ‘groups’, ‘companies’ or ‘organisers of seminars, meetings and private or business events’ (Visa, Amex, Mastercard, Virtuoso, etc.);
  • special, promotional and timelimited offers that provide a further reduction or benefits after booking (promotional codes or benefits requiring subscription to a newsletter, business transaction, loyalty programme, etc.);
  • those offered by any thirdparty reseller (websites, applications, agencies, etc.) who is not a direct distributor of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group;
  • those where the rate has been reduced due to credit notes or holiday vouchers.



Claims under the best rate guarantee must be made to the following email address: [email protected]

Your email must include all the information listed below, otherwise your claim will not be successful:

  • Booking number;
  • Date, time and place of your booking;
  • Name, communication channel and exact URL of the booking platform;
  • Name of the person who made the booking;
  • Booking terms and conditions: number of people, dates, hotel, package, etc.
  • Written confirmation from the booking platform of the rate and related booking and sales terms;
  • Proof of payment.


The customer service department commits to responding within 48 (forty-eight) hours of the claim under the best rate guarantee.


If the above conditions have not been met, the customer service department will send you an email informing you that the best rate guarantee cannot be granted.


If the conditions of the best rate guarantee have been met, the customer service department will send you a confirmation email with the new rate for your stay.



Once the conditions of the best rate guarantee have been met, and following confirmation by the customer service department, the difference will be credited to your hotel bill.



It is your responsibility to cancel the stay booked on another platform and to pay any associated costs.
