Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin is his generation's leading Latin Music figure - beloved by fans worldwide for his intuitive understanding of rhythm, passion for performing and equal compassion for giving. With a track record of 95 platinum records and 40 gold records, he has received many awards, including two GRAMMY, five Latin GRAMMY (including his Person of the Year Award) and nine World Music Awards, among many others. Martin has sold over 95 million albums and continues performing to sold-out stadium and arena audiences worldwide.

1991 marked the release of his debut self-titled solo album, which quickly made him a superstar in Latin America. The growing success of singles such as "Maria" and his 1998 World Cup anthem "La Copa de la Vida," which received a historic performance at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards, vaulted him to the level of bona fide global superstar and the natural performer to lead an oncoming cultural revolution.

Ricky has not only achieved worldwide recognition with his music for two decades, but he has also been successful in other areas such as Broadway, TV, as a writer (becoming a NY Best Seller author), philanthropist and entrepreneur.

For the past two years, he continued to promote his legacy by being a leader in the contemporary scene with his most recent Eps, Pausa, which received a Latin Grammy (2021) and Play. Simultaneously, Ricky shot the first season of the upcoming TV series Mrs. American Pie. He is one of the stars alongside Laura Dern, Kristen Wiig, Carole Burnett and Allison Janney, among other television and film luminaries. Ricky closed the year by performing six sold-out concerts in Colombia, Argentina, and Chile, this time with a symphonic format that generated rave reviews from the press and the thousands of people who witnessed his incredible show. Due to high demand, multiple concerts were booked in these and other countries, keeping Ricky on stage during the year's first quarter.
