During the Monte-Carlo Jazz Festival, the Principality takes on the colors of Jazz, especially in our hotels.
Before with Estelle Perrault & Mark Priore
At Crystal Bar, Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo on November 23 & 24.
In 2017, her collaboration with pianist Alain Jean-Marie is a revelation for Estelle Perrault, and she is used to perform with other jazz musicians that accompany her in concerts. In 2019, she obtains the special mention of the jury at the Trophées du Sunside and in 2020, she releases her 1st album Lots of Love, in digital version. Her 2nd album, Dare that Dream, is nourished by original compositions and standards, and is thought as an awakening to a luminous nostalgia. Her timbre and the particular modulations of her voice reconnect us to the spirit of the great jazz ladies of the 1930s.

Before with Julie Erikssen
At Crystal Bar Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo on November 30, December 1st, 2nd & 3rd from 6pm to 8pm & Brunch at Blue Bay Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort on December 4th at 1pm.
Singer, multi-instrumentalist and gifted songwriter, Julie Erikssen has conquered the musical scene with her grace and elegance. She illustrates her stories through a poetic and airy music at the confluence of jazz and folk tinged with celtic sounds. If she accompanies herself on the guitar and the piano, she is always surrounded by high-flying musicians and counts among her admirers such as Manu Katché or Ali Jackson with whom she has shared several stages and projects as a guest. She signs the lyrics, music and arrangements of her first album OUT OF CHAOS released in 2018, an ode to benevolence, while waiting for her next opus, to be released this fall.

After with Jeanne Michard Quartet
At Blue Gin Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort from 11pm to 1am on December 2nd & 3rd.

Jeanne Michard developed a taste for jazz music of the 40's and 50's and evolved to the sound of Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Coleman Hawkins, or Bud Powell. At the jam sessions, she met young talents of the Parisian jazz scene: Clément Trimouille (guitar), Alex Gilson (double bass) and Paul Morvan (drums). Who share the same taste for swing, bebop and hard-top jazz. The Quartet, now a must in the clubs of the capital, enjoys revisiting the standards of the Songbook but also the original compositions of their mentors. The four of them also compose and plan to record their first album in 2023.
