She's the "voice" of Italian song. In her 30-year career, Giorgia has accumulated awards and honours, acclaimed by both audiences and critics.
In 2024, Giorgia excelled in music, film and TV. This year, she celebrates the 30th anniversary of her emblematic song Come saprei, with which she won the Sanremo Music Festival in 1995 and the Prix de la Critique. After the 2025 Sanremo Music Festival, where she put on an outstanding performance of La Cura per Me, a song written in collaboration with Blanco and Michelangelo, she returns to the stage this summer for a series of concerts before embarking on a tour of major venues starting in late November. Born into a family of musicians, Giorgia began her career by winning the first edition of Sanremo Giovani in 1993. The following year, she took part in the Nuove Proposte section with E poi, before triumphing in 1995 with Come saprei. From her early years, she sang alongside Luciano Pavarotti, Lionel Richie, Herbie Hancock and Ray Charles. She is accompanied on tour by Prince's New Power Generation, the musical director of Whitney Houston, the guitarist of Justin Timberlake and Aretha Franklin. Pino Daniele produced her multi-platinum album Mangio troppa cioccolata in 1997, while Zucchero wrote Di sole e d'azzurro for her, which came second in the 2001 Sanremo Music Festival. In 2007 she sang Poche parole as a duet with Mina. She collaborates with Alicia Keys, Andrea Bocelli, Gianna Nannini, Elisa, Jovanotti, Eros Ramazzotti and Mara Sattei. For Ferzan Özpetek's film, La Finestra di Fronte, she composed Gocce di memoria, a multi-platinum song. In 2023, she made her cinema début as the leading actress in Scordato by Rocco Papaleo. In 2024, Giorgia also co-presented one of the nights at the Sanremo Music Festival.
