Lecture: The history of Hermès and Monaco

Princess Grace’s bag, which became known as the famous Kelly, is one illustration that Hermès and Monaco share a rich history.  Emile Hermès, the visionary head of the company after the First World War and the horse-drawn era  who created what Hermès is today, had strong ties with the principality. Attend the Hermès & Monaco lecture by Menehould de Bazelaire du Chatelle, Hermès Artistic and Cultural Heritage Director and Director of the "museum", the Émile Hermès Collection in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Find out everything you ever wanted to know about the connections between Emile Hermès and Monaco and the history of the Kelly bag.
