The prestigious Robb Report has just unveiled its 2025 rankings. Among the select few featured in its international “Best of the Best” selection, an icon of European luxury stands out: Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. This recognition transcends borders and once again confirms the unique influence of the Principality and the Monegasque Resort on the ultra-luxury scene.
On July 17, the Empire Room at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo hosted the “Best of the Best” ceremony, organized by the prestigious magazine Robb Report Monaco – Côte d’Azur. This second special edition honors the best engineers, designers, artisans, and other innovative companies in the luxury industry.
From automobiles to fine jewelry and watchmaking, yachting, haute couture, hotels, restaurants, wines and spirits, and real estate, this ceremony carefully selects the finest establishments and companies that embody the art of living on the international stage.
It was on this wonderful occasion that the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group distinguished itself, not once but twice.
Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer was named “Best Hospitality Group.” This is a wonderful reward, recognizing the way in which the Group's various establishments, including the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, have shaped the Principality of Monaco. "Beyond its world-famous hotels, SBM's restaurants now hold the impressive record of 10 Michelin stars, making it the most starred resort in the world. Each year, the Group, a leader in the hotel industry, continues to expand and enhance its offering, thanks to new restaurant and club openings, as well as high-profile events throughout Monaco," notes Robb Report.

And it is precisely one of his new clubs that has received another prestigious award: the Monte-Carlo Cigar Club, which opened its doors on May 28. This club, run by Jean Thomas and located in the prestigious Casino de Monte-Carlo, in place of the office of François Blanc, founder of SBM, received the “Best Cigar Club” award. “A private sanctuary for connoisseurs,” describes Robb Report. With an exceptional collection of 276 cigar brands, ranging from Cuba to the New World, the club caters to the most refined tastes."
These two prestigious awards are testament to the dynamism and innovative spirit that the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group has consistently demonstrated for over 160 years. This special edition also celebrates the three new stars awarded by the Michelin Guide in 2025 to L’Abysse Monte-Carlo and Elsa, as well as the Passion Dessert Award given to Floriane Grand, pastry chef at Blue Bay Marcel Ravin** at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort.

Closed since 2020, the Exotic Garden of Monaco has regained its vitality. On March 25, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene and the Princess of Hanover rediscovered this site perched above the Principality, ahead of its reopening to the public.

Charles Leclerc and Alexandra celebrated their wedding at Villa La Vigie at Monte-Carlo Beach in an elegant and intimate ceremony, marked by emotion, an iconic Ferrari and unforgettable moments.
