Claude Monet found his inspiration in the Riviera landscapes of Monte-Carlo, Roquebrune, Bordighera and Antibes, where he nourished his quest and obsession to capture light. The painter discovered a new palette of colors, new elements... The exhibition at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco unveils prestigious paintings, displayed around a section devoted to his creations during his stays on the Riviera.

Inaugurated in 2000, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is recognizable by its spectacular glass and steel design. The exhibition will retrace Monet's work and explore the artist's stays on the Riviera at a pivotal moment in his life. Nearly 100 paintings from all over the world will be on display, including many masterpieces rarely shown together.
