Thanks to its ability to combine tradition and modernity, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo plays a leading role in the interpretation of symphonic works from the great repertoire, the revival of rare and contemporary works, and lyrical and choreographic creation.

 

For this 8th season imagined by Kazuki Yamada, Artistic Director of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, twenty symphonic concerts, two film-concerts, six recitals, four chamber music concerts and eight musical happy hours will punctuate the 2023/2024 program.

Among the festivities this autumn, the OPMC will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Serge Rachmaninoff, a Russian composer often cited as one of the last great romantics, and the focus of five concerts from October 8 to January 21.

 

One of these evenings will feature Macedonian pianist Simon Trpčeski, the Monegasque orchestra's artist-in-residence for the season, performing the sublime Piano Concerto No. 2. Delightful.

 

 

From July 11 to August 8, the Palais Princier de Monaco will vibrate to the sound of the Monaco Philharmonic Orchestra's exceptional concerts, offering unforgettable evenings in a majestic setting.
