The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra returns for a series of summer concerts from the 18 July to 8 August in the Cour d’Hon­neur at the Prince’s Palace.

Founded in 1959 during the reign of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra has earned itself an international reputation for its summer season performances, delighting music lovers throughout Monaco and beyond and transforming the Cour d’Honneur at the Prince’s Palace into a magical music venue.

Some of the greatest conductors and soloists in the world have performed in the Cour d’Honneur including pianists Cziffra, Rubinstein, Kempff, Gilels and Leonard Bernstein, violinists Ferras, Menuhin and Perlman, cellist Rostropovich, and singers Rita Streich, Victoria de Los Ángeles, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Régine Crespin, Jessye Norman and Renée Fleming, not to mention Luciano Pavarotti.

The orchestra’s six summer season concerts will take place between the 18 July and 8 August, and will feature works by composers including Dvořák, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Mozart, and Beethoven.
