Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Maserati hit the road together

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer and Maserati have signed an agreement so that clients and guests of Monaco’s prestigious Société des Bains de Mer can travel in style in a Maserati.

Guests, artists, VIPs, and casino-goers can now visit Monaco and drive to the airport in the comfort of a Maserati, the famous car brand with the trident logo.

Seven cars are dedicated to this partnership for four Société des Bains de Mer hotels (Hôtel de Paris, Hôtel Hermitage, Monte-Carlo Bay, and Monte-Carlo Beach) and four casinos including the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo. The Société des Bains de Mer’s Chairman will also be getting around in a Maserati from now on.

Under the terms of the agreement valid until June 2016, the two companies have agreed on numerous cross marketing strategies. A Maserati will be displayed at the Monte-Carlo Beach over the 2015 summer, and Maserati products will be on sale at several Société des Bains de Mer shops. Some Société des Bains de Mer valets will wear Maserati branded clothing.

When two Mediterranean legends come together

The partnership between the Société des Bains de Mer and Maserati was waiting to happen. Perfection epitomises these two, century-old brands; they boast Italian tradition and have each carved a name for themselves in the luxury sector.

Founded in 1863, the Société des Bains de Mer has dedicated more than 150 years to luxury tourism in Monaco. Hôtel de Paris and Casino de Monte-Carlo are proof of this long history of excellence. The Société des Bains de Mer has four casinos – Hôtel Hermitage, Monte-Carlo Beach, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort and Jimmy’z – and four Michelin-starred restaurants including Louis XV-Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris. It also boasts Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo and the incredible open-air Monte-Carlo Shopping promenade with more than 40 luxury brands. A major player in the world of international luxury, the Société des Bains de Mer overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, where French starts to sound a little Italian…

Maserati was founded in 1914 in Bologna, not far from Monaco. Its Mediterranean roots are indisputable: Maserati has adopted many characteristics from its home town. The trident in its logo is inspired by the statue of Neptune located at the Piazza Maggiore in Bologna. Its two emblematic colours, red and blue, are the colours of the city! In 100 years, Maserati has become an exceptional brand. Maserati set the world speed record in 1929 doing 246 km/h, and famous race car driver Fangio became Formula 1 world champion in 1957 driving a Maserati.

Why choose between luxury and sportsmanship?

Since it was founded in Monaco, the Société des Bains de Mer has combined luxury and comfort with sport, performance and well-being. In addition to its luxury hotels, the Société des Bains de Mer’s establishments such as the Monte-Carlo Golf Club, the Monte-Carlo Country Club for tennis, the Monte-Carlo Beach for water sports, and Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo for wellness and fitness stand out as the perfect combination of luxury and performance.

That is why the Société des Bains de Mer has chosen the Maserati Quattroporte range, which brings together comfort, space, ultra-luxury and sportsmanship, and the Maserati Ghilbli, which combines luxury and performance.
