Since the very beginning, the Group has upheld the values of excellence and commitment, which are also the pillars of the success achieved by top-level athletes. In its constant efforts to enhance performance and serve customers better, through both individual involvement and its team spirit, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has partnered with prestigious sporting competitions such as the
Monte-Carlo Grand Prix and the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tennis tournament. It is also a committed supporter of the AS Monaco Football Club and the Monégasque Athletics Federation
This autumn, the Group is taking another important step, demonstrating a new form of support for women’s basketball through the Monaco Basket Association, which has more than 160 members divided into eight teams, from the basketball school to the Seniors.
In September 2024, the first joint speech was given by Stéphane Valeri, Deputy Chairman of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, and Eric Elena, founder of MBA in 2009. While he has trained many gaming employees, Eric Elena wanted to share his passion with a wider audience by creating a club that would allow players to enjoy pushing themselves even further in a demanding team sport. During a press conference organised at the prestigious Bar Rotonde at the Casino de Monte-Carlo, Stéphane Valeri and Eric Elena presented the women’s team lineup and match schedule for the 2024-2025 season.

Hopes are high for the team, and the partnership will provide direct financial support to help Monaco Basket Association rise through the divisions, and indirect support with the provision of infrastructures such as the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, where the players will benefit from cryotherapy sessions.
