With over 30 million records sold throughout the world, Tarkan is without a doubt the best-known Turkish pop star.

Dubbed the “Prince of the Bosphorus”, Tarkan rose to fame in Europe with his hit single “Simarik”, also known as “Kiss Kiss”. Hard to forget the incredible success of this song, which topped the charts in the summer of 1998 and sold over a million copies!

Tarkan is undisputedly one of the Turkey’ s greatest representatives, with far reaching success throughout Europe, Russia, Turkic Republics, Middle East, South America and Australia.

To honor his successes, Tarkan was awarded a World Music Award, at Monaco’s 1999 World Music Awards.

In 2006, the singer released his debut English album, Come Closer, featuring rapper Wyclef Jean. Produced in New York, this album launched his international career.

Known for his deep love and devotion to Turkish Classical Music, Tarkan released Ahde Vefa in March 2016 from his label, HITT Music. This highly anticipated album has won two well-deserved awards.

His latest 2017 album “10” sold over 330,000 copies in just 20 days.

Forged from the rich and complex fabric of Turkish culture, his songs are laced with pop beats, creating a musical fusion between East and West.
