This meeting will bring together experts on environmental conservation and sustainable development and on-the-ground operators who are implementing on a day-to-day basis the initiatives of Société des Bains de Mer. It will be facilitated by talented journalist Leila Ghandi, herself a very dynamic activist in this field, in the presence of multiple-times world champion free diver and ocean conservationist Pierre Frolla, The Sea is Green ambassador for Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer.
Participants are invited to meet at 10 a.m at the Salle Belle Epoque to the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo. At 10:30 a.m., the meeting will begin in the form of a conversation moderated by LeÏla Ghandi, who will be putting questions to: Professor Denis Allemand, scientific director of the Centre Scientifique de Monaco; Annabelle Jaeger-Seydoux, Director of the Mission for Energy Transition of the Prince’s Government; Guillaume Bereau, Green Globe auditor; Estelle Antognelli, head of the CSR unit of the Tourist and Convention Authority of Monaco; Pierre Frolla; Tom Biscéré, Mr.Goodfish coordinator; and many other guests. This will be followed by a visit to the exhibition The Sea is Green, in the presence of the artist Jean Boghossian. The tour will start with the discovery of the works installed from the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo to the gardens and alleys of Monte-Carlo.
Taking feedback based on practical experience as its starting point, the aim of this meeting is to help support progress towards, and maintain a strong sense of ambition concerning, best practice in sustainable hospitality, especially as a contributing factor to the conservation of the sea and the oceans.
