9 am | Surrounded by nature
Far from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, a wonderfully chic and intimate destination awaits you: the Monte-Carlo Beach, where the waves of the Mediterranean lap at the door. Make the most of the incredible vistas and soft morning light to gently awaken your senses to a brand-new day – perhaps with a session of outdoor meditation or yoga, tucked between the sea and sweet-smelling pines? A coach is on hand to guide you if you so wish. If you’d prefer a livelier start, why not go for an aquabike or aquagym session, or even an invigorating hike along the coastal path! What better way to kick off a day of wellbeing and living in the moment!
10 am | Breakfast al fresco
Time for breakfast on the terrace at Elsa, complete with some simply stunning sea views! The menu includes all kinds of organic, seasonal fruit, aged cheeses and yoghurts.
Eggs are also cooked to order, and served alongside fresh, local vegetables. As you eat, enjoy the soothing sound of the waves lapping at the hotel’s private beach.
11 am | A spot of sunshine by the sea
After your delicious start to the day, it seems only right to hit the beach – so why not check out the Monte-Carlo Beach’s new-look private beach, with furnishings inspired by far-off places, exquisite woodwork, a stretch of fine, white sand and more! It slopes gently down to the sea, just like Elsa Maxwell – the renowned American personality who famously put the hotel on the map – intended it to do all the way back in 1929. With its famous striped canvas cabanas providing the backdrop and bespoke cabana service available, this is the perfect spot for a little leisurely sunbathing – and a dip or two, of course.
1 pm | Lunch with family
At this point, it’s time to head to Le Deck, and the shady columns of the pergola. Not only does the restaurant look out over the gleaming, palm-lined Olympic pool, it also enjoys stunning views across the bay and serves delicious, seasonal food that is made for sharing. Dishes are creative, hearty, and celebrate Mediterranean cuisine, with seafood the star of the show and a market-led menu making the very most of the catch of the day.
1pm | Lunch with friends
A mild summer day. For a festive lunch, come to the Club La Vigie Monte-Carlo. For an unforgettable moment, in a fun and warm atmosphere, with the sea as your only horizon. A pontoon to moor, a terrace that looks out over the sea... For an exotic lunch to the rhythms of the resident DJ, or to enjoy the last rays of sunshine over a cocktail.
3 pm | Pool & snack time
After lunch, make your way to the poolside Monte-Carlo Beach Bar & Glacier. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a post-lunch cup of coffee, or round off your meal with something sweet from our menu of homemade ice creams and sorbets. Before long, you're also sure to be tempted by a few lengths in the iconic Olympic pool: with its blue glass tiles, famous pontoon and two diving boards, there’s something about it that is difficult to resist... and the heated, ozone-sanitised seawater really is delightful.
5 pm | Get glowing...
Whether you’re looking for pampering or pure adrenaline, you’ll find it at the Monte-Carlo Beach. For dinner, head for Elsa, the Gault & Millau award-winning restaurant. The young chef Mélanie Serre is at the helm, defending with passion and conviction an elegant, gourmet and responsible cuisine. A seasonal cuisine that gives pride of place to the region's producers and the restaurant's organic vegetable garden!
