The gentle scent of Summer coasting in from the Mediterranean is reawakening your taste buds and your dreams of escapism. On 3 July, the elegant Monte-Carlo Beach is opening for a new season focused on freedom and new experiences. The restaurants Elsa and La Vigie will also open on the same date. The Monte-Carlo Carlo Beach Club and Le Deck will be receiving guests starting on 12 June, while Le Tigre Monte-Carlo will open on 30 June.
At Monte-Carlo Beach, fine dining and relaxation go hand in hand with an eco-friendly approach in full bloom. Let yourself be tempted by…
#1: Delicious flavors:
In 2020, Chef Benoît Witz took over the reins of the Michelin-starred restaurant Elsa. Every last fruit, vegetable and herb is a source of inspiration for him. His new menu is an ode to health and nature, a tasteful culinary medley that sings the praises of Mediterranean produce. The dining room décor is elegant and understated, with azure tones that subtly evoke the contours of the Mediterranean coast.
#2: Wellness at Le Tigre Monte-Carlo:
An invitation to relax and let go which combines open-air therapy and yoga in the heart of Monte-Carlo Beach, inviting you to let go during some open-air therapy and yoga. Make “healthy body, healthy mind” your motto. Each visitor is treated to a bespoke experience, and you can choose from a roster of gentle or dynamic disciplines, including yoga sessions, massages, and treatments and courses focused on emotional and physical wellbeing. Here, you are sure to find balance and harmony!
#3 Lunch on the terrace…
Le Deck brings a casual chic ambiance to Monte-Carlo Beach’s legendary swimming pool. Resident chef Pascal Garrigues serves up his fresh, creative cuisine, providing a casual culinary experience that you will love sharing with friends and family in a truly delightful setting.
Set beneath the cooling shade of the Pompeian red colonnade, this is the perfect summer spot to enjoy local products, including fresh fish prepared on demand.
#4: Enthralling evenings:
Head to La Vigie Lounge & Restaurant for a captivating evening in a cosy and friendly atmosphere with a laid-back, bohemian feel. For the second year running, this venue has dreamed up a unique experience for you to enjoy from 5 p.m. to midnight. Berth at the jetty and head for the terrace extending out over the sea, where you can enjoy some signature cocktails and the racy beats of our resident DJ before a night out, or savour a Mediterranean-inspired meal against a backdrop of live music. It’s the ideal place to enjoy an extended afternoon in the sun, where time stands still in a never-ending bubble of bliss…
#5: Respect for biodiversity:
Ever since it won Green Globe certification back in 2014, Monte-Carlo Beach has worked tirelessly to support sustainable development. Everything from its culinary offerings (including Elsa, a Michelin-starred restaurant that serves local food) to the transport options (electric vehicles for guest use) demonstrates Monte-Carlo Beach's unswerving commitment to this ethical endeavour. Another example in 2020 is the finalization of the installation of an underwater dyke in the form of an artificial riprap to counter the effects of the ocean’s swell, which will protect the magnificent Vigie peninsula and Saint-Roman beach without affecting existing flora and fauna.
Last but not least...
There is no shortage of ways to relax. Solariums, tents, cabanas and bungalows are all available to hire so that you can make the most of your time spent by the sea or beside the Olympic-sized pool. If you are looking to stay fit and active, there are also plenty of watersports options at the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, including parasailing, tubing, MasterCraft® sailing and Flyboard® trips. There's no doubt about it: Everything's possible at Monte-Carlo Beach!
