    Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer is following the Covid-19 epidemic very closely and is focused on ensuring the health and safety of employees and customers.

     

     

    The Group is:

    Conditions of entry to Monaco:

    From 1 July 2021, anyone (16 yo+) wishing to enter Monaco will need to present the documents below as required for their country of origin.

    The Monaco government has identified 3 different zones, with a separate set of entrance requirements applying to each:

    - Green zone

    - Orange zone

    - Red zone

    A list of the countries in each zone, and the documents required for the zone of origin is available to view on Monaco’s official COVID-19 website

    These documents are not required for commuter workers employed in Monaco, or cross-border pupils and students.  

     

    The Health Pass consists of providing digital or paper evidence of: 

    • Full vaccination.
    • A certificate showing proof of recovery from COVID-19*
    • A negative PCR or antigen test dated within the last 72 hours 

    You will also be required to show proof of identity.

    *Positive RT-PCR or antigen test taken more than 15 days ago and within the last 6 months.

     

    The required documents must be presented at the entrance to our establishments.

    Failure to do so will result in entry being refused.

    If an individual cannot provide the documents requested, they will not be permitted entry to hotels in the Principality.

    Since August 23rd, the Health Pass is extended.

    Wearing a mask is subject to application rules. It's still mandatory in some open public places and closed venues open to the public.

    Special circumstances:

     

    Measures to access the Monte-Carlo Beach and the Monte-Carlo Beach Club:

    The Monte-Carlo Beach and the Monte-Carlo Beach Club are located on French territory.

    All guests, regardless of nationality or place of origin, must present the supporting documents for the Sanitary Pass to access some areas of the Monte-Carlo Beach (Restaurants, swimming pool, beach, cabanas, nautical activities, etc.).

    Measures relating to transit and stopovers

    Every traveller will be required to provide health documents for the zone they are arriving from. Only the main residential address is taken into consideration.

     

    Quarantine avoidance measures for travellers arriving from a Red Zone

    Present the negative results of two new PCR tests, the first carried out within 24 hours of their arrival and the second carried out 5 to 7 days later.

    NB: Anyone arriving in Nice from a Red Zone will be required to show documents proving that their final destination is Monaco. In this case, they will not be required to quarantine in France. France will notify Monaco of anyone arriving from a zone requiring quarantine.

     

    Measures for minors aged 16+

    Children aged 16+ arriving from a country which is not yet vaccinating minors (under 18s), will only be required to show a PCR or antigen test dated within the last 48 hours.

     

    Health and Safety - the following rules are enforced in our establishments:

     

    In our hotels 

    • Health Pass enforcement.
    • You will receive an email in advance of your stay, requesting information which is essential for checking in.
    • During peak season, changes and cancellations can be made between seven and three days before arrival
    • All new reservations must be guaranteed by credit card at the time of confirmation. No deposit or prepayment is required*.
    • The majority of our special offers (e.g. Advance Purchase)  are now flexible: no prepayments are required, and bookings may be cancelled up to three days before arrival  or up to seven days before your arrival in high season.

    *Excluding the Diamond Suite and long stays.

     

    In our casinos:

    • Health Pass enforcement.
    • All customers who wish to visit the casinos are asked to briefly lower their masks for identity checks, in accordance with current regulations in the Principality of Monaco. The customer must also show a valid national ID card or passport with a photograph; no other document will be accepted.
    • The Casino de Monte-Carlo will open from 2pm to 4am, while the Casino Café de Paris will open from 10am to 6am.
    • Entry numbers are restricted to the maximum capacity set by the government.

     

    In our restaurants:

    • Health Pass enforcement.
    • Reservation is compulsory for our restaurants.
    • Masks are compulsory for customers who have not yet been seated.
    • Counter service is permitted. Consumption at the bar is not permitted.

     

    In our well-being and bathing areas:

    • Health Pass enforcement.
    • Our swimming pools and gyms are open (booking required) in accordance with a strict health protocol. Private lessons with our sports coaches are permitted (see conditions).
    • Advance booking is required for all treatments.
    • Jacuzzis and whirlpools are open, saunas and hammams remain inaccessible.

     

    In our discos and nightclubs:

    • Health pass in a format with a valid QR code 
    • All clients must have made a reservation beforehand.
    • For clients, the wearing of a mask is required in the queue, respecting the 1m50 distance. However, it is no longer mandatory inside the establishment

    Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has been certified as compliant with Covid-19 "business restart" health sanitary measures by Bureau Veritas France.

    The Monegasque government has awarded the Monaco Safe label to the Monte-Carlo Cares programme of hygiene measures put in place to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the following establishments: hotels, restaurants, casinos and spas.

    This government-approved label is a further endorsement of the Group’s safety standards, ensuring that staff can carry out their duties and visitors enjoy their stay in the Principality with confidence.

     

    According to the government, “This additional attribute is available for use by tourism professionals and retailers: the Principality of Monaco is a safe and attractive destination, and will continue to be so”.

     

    This label also signifies that frequent inspections are carried out, demonstrating our unfailing commitment to making Monaco the finest destination in Europe.
