Interview sommelier Gennaro Iorio aux Caves de l'Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo

Route des Grands Crus Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo

Savour exceptional wines at the Hôtel de Paris
From Monday 1 April to Thursday 31 October 2024

The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo invites you to discover 3 very distinct regions: Bordeaux, Alsace and the New World.

The wines of Bordeaux are renowned for being the fruit of a long winemaking tradition and ancestral know-how, offering a range of wines of exceptional quality that appeal to wine lovers the world over. The different grape varieties used for red wines produce elegant, complex wines with aromas of red fruit and a robust tannic structure.

With its wealth of grape varieties, Alsace produces complex, fruity wines. Planted on a geological fault that contributes to a wide variety of soils, the noble grape varieties (riesling, pinot gris, gewurztraminer, etc.) best reflect the nuances of the terroirs, with limitless ageing potential.
Referring to regions of the world where oenology was only discovered around 400 years ago, New World wines stand in stark contrast to so-called Old World wines. Take California, for example, where large wineries produce expressive, charming wines that are becoming increasingly popular.

Enjoy a flavourful experience in the various restaurants of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
