Organised by Palexpo, under the direction of Thomas Hug, recent organisers of Artgenève, this show opens the European season for large contemporary art fairs. Artmonte-carlo invites visitors to enjoy an open-air sculpture garden.
Inside the Grimaldi Forum, in a chic and cosy atmosphere, there are around forty galleries, including some of the art world's biggest names*. This 4th edition of the show includes White Cube gallery among the other exhibitors, a gallery with a worldwide reputation that has driven the rise of artists such as Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin.
A diverse artistic platform
For those who have never explored the Arts and Design Pavilion, this is your chance! This is the first PAD event in Monaco, after fairs in Paris and London, and it focuses on decorative and primitive art.
Along with this international gallery section devoted to modern, contemporary, and design work, Artmonte-carlo has been developing its museum and art market professional forum: Criss-cross/Art Institutions in Dialogue. This is a chance for the public to attend art talks, to think about the art world today and in the future, and to take in a visual feast.
