Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Europe's most starred resort with 7 Michelin stars, is back with its "Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo" for the fifth anniversary. The Grill at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo will be hosting an exceptional evening on Thursday April 10, 2025.

For this fifth edition, Dominique Lory is inviting Pierre Gagnaire, multi-starred chef, elected in 2015 by his peers “greatest starred chef in the world”. A culinary rendez-vous on the eighth floor of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo for a top-flight 6-course menu with two personalities who are as extraordinary as they are perfectionists, paying particular attention to their guests, with one watchword: sharing!

 

About Dominique Lory

 

 

An altruist by nature, and endlessly in search of perfection, Dominique Lory has taken over the kitchen at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo since 2022. After over ten years alongside Mr. Ducasse at the three-Michelin starred Le Louis XV - Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris, he now expresses his talent, vision, and passion through the luxury hotel's various culinary worlds. An experience in the service of creativity, a philosophy of taste and sharing between tradition and modernity.

About Pierre Gagnaire 

 

A multi-star chef at the head of several restaurants including his eponymous restaurant Pierre Gagnaire in Paris, three stars in the Michelin Guide, Pierre Gagnaire is a cook of the immediate, the chef transforms his instincts into moments of grace. An alchemist in the furnace, he transcends raw matter to reveal its substance. Guided by a principle of emotions, Pierre Gagnaire has made cooking a means of expression, a language, which he likes to be frank and direct, with instead of words, dishes that go straight to the heart. No cheating, no flirting, but a daily commitment to the piano, to play with his teams the score of virtuoso know-how. 

 

About Pierre Gagnaire and Dominique Lory 

 

Chef Pierre Gagnaire was Dominique Lory's chef just 25 years ago as part of his experience in the three-star establishment on rue Balzac in Paris. From March 2000 to January 2002, Dominique Lory worked at Pierre Gagnaire as first commis chef, first for fish then for meat. Chef Pierre Gagnaire brought to Chef Dominique Lory a very open mind and adaptation, but also the ability to constantly renew himself.
