The origins of the Monaco Yacht Show 
 

Created in 1991, the Monaco Yacht Show has rapidly become the must-attend event for luxury yachting enthusiasts. Organised under the High Patronage of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, the event is supported by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, which promotes luxury and tourism in the Principality. Every year, the Port Hercule is transformed to welcome visitors from all over the world, who come to admire more than 125 unique superyachts.

How to get to the event  

 

There are several options for getting to the Monaco Yacht Show. Taking place in Port Hercule, the event is easily accessible for international visitors, notably via Nice-Côte d'Azur airport, 20km away. Transfers to the site after a flight can be made by taxi, bus or helicopter. By car, it's easy to get to the show by taking the A8 motorway from France, via the Monaco exit. By train, from Paris or Marseille, TGV high-speed trains serve Monaco station directly, as do a number of regional TER trains.
