The terrace: setting the mood

The exotic, electric atmosphere of Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo is a great place to chill out, as are the jazzy surrounds of Le Bar Américain. The terrace there is perfect for enjoying some food, or sipping on a drink to the tinkling tunes tripping off the piano... A distinctly “bistro” feel reigns on the terrace of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo even at its temporary new location in the Salle Empire of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, whilst the sweeping terrace of Michelin-starred restaurant Pavyllon, a Yannick Alléno restaurant at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo is the ideal place to savour unforgettable culinary creations as you drink in views of the port, the old city and – of course – the Mediterranean Sea. It’s also undoubtedly one of the most stunning terraces in Monaco, and lends itself perfectly to a romantic dinner.
It’s all change, however, as we head to the terrace at Le Deck: at the Monte-Carlo Beach hotel, creative Mediterranean cuisine is served up in a completely different setting with a vibe all its own alongside the hotel’s superb pool. Holidays are in the air at Las Brisas, too, the summer restaurant at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, where guests can enjoy lunch and share a fun with family in the ultimate laid-back surroundings...complete with a breath-taking view of the Med.

To make your trip out onto the terrace as enjoyable as it should be, it’s undoubtedly all a question of timing. A distinctly “bistro” feel reigns on the terrace of the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, even at its temporary new location in the Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, and at Mada One right in the heart of the One Monte-Carlo district.. Or, time to enjoy the coolness and tropical twists of L'Orange Verte restaurant terrace. A drink out on the terrace at Mada One or Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo is the perfect time to relax with friends. Time spent on the terrace of the 3 Michelin-starred: the Louis XV – Alain Ducasse restaurant at the Hôtel de Paris is always incredibly special. And, when it’s time to get the party started, then COYA Monte-Carlo or the Blue Gin terrace is the place to be. That could even see you moving and grooving all the way to the end of the evening, to the live music that provides the soundtrack for nights out in Monaco.
